Robyn Gruber Joins Trillium Springs Counseling

RobynGruberMARIETTA, Georgia (Mar. 1, 2010) – Mar. 1, 2010) – Robyn S. Gruber, M.A., LPC has joined Trillium Springs Counseling Center. “We are delighted that Robyn has joined our therapeutic team. Her experience treating trauma will be of significant importance to our clients,” said Trillium Springs Counseling founder and director Vilda S. Brannen, M.A., NCC, LPC.

Robyn is a Licensed Professional Counselor specializing in resolving trauma of all types. Whether the wound is from childhood, a current or previous relationship or any type of life-altering loss, Robyn is skilled at helping adults heal from the wounds they have experienced so that they no longer experience the ongoing effects of those wound in their daily lives.

She believes that the future is not determined by the past and anyone willing to walk through the grief required for healing, can and will heal and recover. Rather than treating symptoms, Robyn focuses on getting to the source of the problem and resolving the core issues, resulting in the alleviation of troubling symptoms and transformation that seemed impossible to achieve.

Trillium Springs Counseling Center Expands into Larger Space

receptionMARIETTA, Georgia (June 1, 2010) – Trillium Springs Counseling Center has expanded into larger space within their existing office building at Governor’s Ridge on Powers Ferry Road in Atlanta.

“We have been fortunate to have a number of talented professional counselors join our Center over the past several months. The new, expanded space is designed to give our clients and therapists an environment conducive to a positive counseling experience,” said Trillium Springs Counseling founder and director Vilda S. Brannen, M.A., NCC, LPC. The new space has a large reception and waiting area, five therapist offices, and a room that can accommodate up to 20 people in a group setting.

“Having nine therapists working directly with Trillium Springs Counseling and four others associated with the practice gave us the opportunity to expand into this new space. The combination of their talents, experience and professional relationships will give our clients a wider variety of options as they seek counseling,” Brannen concluded.

Among the specialties of the counselors at Trillium Springs Counseling are: management and treatment of bipolar disorder, individuals, couples, and family counseling dealing with issues of marital, depression, anxiety, eating disorders, sexual trauma, addiction, and spirituality among others.

Barbara Russell Joins Trillium Springs Counseling

BobbyRussellMARIETTA, Georgia (May 15, 2010) – Barbara Russell, M.A., has joined Trillium Springs Counseling Center.

“We are delighted that Barbara Russell has joined our therapeutic team as a counselor. Barbara’s broad experience prior to pursuing her counseling career and subsequent work with both counseling center clients and in-patient clients will be of significant benefit to our clients,” said Trillium Springs Counseling founder and director Vilda S. Brannen, M.A., NCC, LPC.

Barbara received a MA in Counseling from Richmont Graduate University (formerly PSI)  and a BA and BS from Florida State University in Anthropology and English.  She is currently pursuing her license as an Associate Professional Counselor.   Barbara adheres to a life philosophy articulated by Carl Jung:  “The least of things with a meaning is worth more in life than the greatest of things without it.” 

She has worked for Delta Airlines for thirty three years and has been active in the field of publishing for fifteen years.  She has provided creative and interactive workshops for groups of adult writers, and worked in school systems in and out of state to help children and adolescents find their individual voice through creative writing. Barbara is the author of six books for children and young adults.

Hope Hailey Joins Trillium Springs Counseling

HopeHaileyMARIETTA, Georgia (May 1, 2011) – Hope Hailey, M.A., has joined the therapeutic team at the Trillium Springs Counseling Center.

"Hope's experience working with adolescents struggling with issues of drug abuse, bipolar disorder, psychosis, anxiety, depression, and suicidal ideation will be of significant benefit to our clients," said Trillium Springs Counseling founder and director Vilda S. Brannen, M.A., NCC, LPC. 

Hope will also be teaching Dialectical Behavior Therapy where patients learn emotion regulation and mindfulness to help them transition to everyday life with healthy coping skills.

Her other specialties will be counseling individuals, families, and couples struggling with issues surrounding financial and marital stress, anxiety, isolation, depression, sexual abuse, and parenting.

Hope received her M.A. in Professional Counseling from Richmont Graduate University and a B.A. in Journalism with a minor in Psychology from the University of Georgia. Hope completed her internship at Ridgeview Institute in Atlanta and has additional experience at the West Cobb Hope Counseling Center.
