Trillium Springs Counseling: Improving the Quality of Your Life

Our goal is to improve the quality of life for individuals, couples and families by helping people make positive changes in their lives. Our counselors work with you to empower you to make healthy and effective choices. Regardless of the reason you seek counseling, our counselors are trained to provide an atmosphere conducive to working on life's everyday and long term challenges.

Founder and Director Vilda S. Brannen, MS, NCC, LPC, CPCS, created Trillium Springs Counseling in the early 2000's to primarily meet the needs of individuals and families struggling with a bipolar disorder diagnosis. "Personally experiencing the devastation of a loved one's bipolar diagnosis allowed me to see firsthand how limited our community's resources were. I had been a Licensed Professional Counselor for some time practicing in a variety of areas, but felt called to specialize in the management and treatment of bipolar disorder, and the practice has grown ever since," Vilda said. "And over the last 10 years, I've seen many other mental health needs not directly related to bipolar disorder, but often peripheral to it., surface. That led us to build a diverse team of counselors with a variety of specialties to help individuals, couples and families."

We also work with individuals just entering the counseling profession to successfully complete the long journey toward licensure. We offer direction and supervision to individuals to ensure they comply with the stringent state and federal laws and our profession's ethical standards. A seasoned counselor will work with newer therapists to help process challenges in their practice as they gain knowledge from others with a lifetime of experience.

Trillium Springs Counseling is located in the suburban hills of the Fulton/Cobb/Cumberland area with close proximity to Atlanta, Sandy Springs, Smyrna, Vinings and Marietta. Our offices are conveniently located in Governor's Ridge Office Park on Powers Ferry Rd. near the intersection of I-285 and I-75/Windy Hill Rd. at the edge of North Atlanta and East Cobb. Our offices provide free parking and Cobb public transportation at our front entrance. Numerous lunch and dinner restaurants, coffee shops, banks and shopping are a short drive from our location.
