Vicky
Speer is an Associate Professional Counselor
specializing in helping individuals and couples cope
with the physical and emotional strain of family
planning issues such as infertility and adoption.
Vicky
received her Master of Arts degree from the Georgia
School of Professional Psychology at Argosy University.
Vicky also holds a Bachelor of Business Administration
with a concentration in Marketing from Georgia State
University.
Vicky’s
professional experience includes counseling services to
individuals, couples and birthparents experiencing
infertility, adoption or making an adoption plan at
Bethany Christian Services and has experience providing
individual and family therapy with children and
adolescents at Family Intervention Specialists.
Vicky’s
approach to therapy is to provide a safe, unconditional
space to gain insight and make positive life
transformations. Vicky applies an integrated approach
of cognitive- behavioral and solution-focused models of
therapy to illicit one’s strengths toward change. In
addition, Vicky utilizes relaxation and stress
management techniques along with referrals to
alternative therapies such as acupuncture and yoga.
Vicky
is a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor
(#APC002587) and a National Certified Counselor
(#258900) and is under the direction and supervision of
Vilda S. Brannen, M.S., NCC, LPC, the founder and
